Gettin' back on the Horse. {Medicine Hat Photography}

WOW! It's been way too long since we've blogged. (Correction-I, Amanda) blogged. It's in my sphere of things to do…whooooops. Don't blame Matt. I failed at blogging. My dad always speaks in these country sayings that sometimes I don't understand…but the whole "gettin' back on the horse" one-I get. And so I shall try.

Last year was an incredible year! The best one for our business yet, and a great one for us personally too. We shot more weddings than we've ever shot, had some INCREDIBLE and STUNNING Grads/Couples to shoot and met some of the sweetest families and made some new friends. We moved to a bigger space (during the middle of our busiest season because-why not?!), and we have an actual room dedicated to being a real office now. (Matt was working out of a half-kitchen-half-dining room situation before…cabin fever may have set in once or twice!).  I switched jobs at the end of 2013, and officially hit my 1 year mark in November. We were able to go to Ontario to see my family THREE times…which is so rare, but was soooo needed. It was the most exhausting, most exciting year in our business and 2016 is already shaping up to top that.

Please enjoy some of our highlights over the next few weeks, and for any photographers out there who are wanting to learn a few tips/tricks, subscribe to our Instagram and this blog and feel free to ask any questions below in the comments. We love sharing with other photogs. :)

In the spirit of "getting back on the horse", please enjoy some images of one of our favourite grads and her horses. (Seriously terrified of horses, but have always dreamed of doing a shoot like this.)
